The strings themselves

One colour or two, then the speed nocks, the end serving and the centre serving. Every one of them is chosen by name off the chart before we build the set.

In the bush

Uphill lies, long shadows and whatever the scrub puts in the way. Most of these are walked courses, where the shot you get is the one the bush gives you.

Seen a set you like?

Every string on this page came off the same colour chart. You order by the colour's name, not by the photo, and the set is built to your bow.

Screen colours are a guide; the printed chart is the reference.

  1. Note the names

    Write down the colours you want off the chart: string one, string two if you want a pair, speed nocks, end serving, centre serving. One colour is fine.

  2. Tell us the bow

    Make and model on the order form. PSE bows require the serial number and HOYT bows require the cam number.

  3. We build it by hand

    Made here in Australia from BCY materials and posted out, with shipping included within Australia.

3D and field

Foam animals and the walk between them

Foam targets set out along a course, and the walk between them to pull arrows. Broadhead tuning is on the bench for the hunting set-ups.

About the photos

Questions about these photos

Can I get the exact colours in a photo?

Colours are ordered by name, not off a picture. Find the name on the colour charts and put it in your order. Screen colours are a guide; the printed chart is the reference.

Are these all compound bows?

Most of them. We make recurve and traditional strings as well: one string, one or two colours, your pick of end serving, black centre serving, $45 posted.

How long before my set arrives?

We'll confirm turnaround when we confirm your order. If you need the set for a shoot on a certain date, say so in the order and Tim will let you know where you stand.

Can you fit them to my bow as well?

Yes. Fit strings and tune the bow is $80 at the workshop in Argenton, and all bow service work is done after 3pm. Add it to your order or book a service on its own.
