Full compound sets
Sets for compound bows running two to seven strings and cables, built to your customer's bow.
PSE bows require the serial number and HOYT bows require the cam number, so those two brands need one extra detail from you.
Every set is made by hand in Argenton NSW, to the bow it's going on. If you run a shop or a club and you want our strings on your shelf or built for your customers, send the dealer enquiry and Tim will get back to you.
Tell us about the business: where you are, what you sell or shoot, and roughly what you would be after. Tim reads every one himself and will come back to you about how dealer orders work.
Send a dealer enquirySend the bow details and the colours for each set by email, or ring the workshop and Tim will take it down. If you used to sign in to place your dealer orders, email or phone them through instead for now.

Nothing here comes off a rack. Each set is built for the bow it's going on, which is why the details in the next section matter more here than they would for something out of a box.

Up to two colours, the end serving in the colour they want, and the centre serving always in black.
If the bow's model is a mystery, send us the string length and the details you do have.
One string colour is fine, and plenty of customers ask for it. The rest of the choices are theirs to make: a second colour, speed nocks or none, the end serving, the centre serving. Send us the names off the chart and that's what gets laid up.
Screen colours are a guide; the printed chart is the reference.
Fluro Purple and Pink, black end and centre servings, white speed nocks. One combination out of thousands off the chart.
Retail prices for customers are on the order page. We don't publish dealer pricing on the site, so send the enquiry or call and Tim will go through it with you.
A set built to the wrong lengths is a bow that won't come into spec and a customer waiting twice. Two minutes on the details up front saves that, for you and for us.
One set, one lot of details: the bow, the extra number if it's a PSE or a HOYT, and the colours off the chart.
He confirms the order back to you, and asks if something is missing rather than guessing at it.
Laid up by hand in Argenton from BCY materials, to the lengths that bow needs.
Tim tells you when the set is made and how it's coming across, so you can tell your customer something true.
If a customer of yours would rather have the bow done on the spot, Tim fits strings and tunes bows at the Argenton workshop. All bow service work is done after 3pm, and he confirms the time when he confirms the booking.
Bow fitting and tuning
All strings manufactured in Australia with only the best quality BCY materials available.
Tim has been at this a long while: over 40 years of experience in the archery industry, as he puts it, making his own strings from 2009 and running Big Fella's Bow Strings since 2015. Jordan joined the family business in 2025, so there are two pairs of hands on the bench.
The name goes on the serving of every set, and they back it up in the field as well. In their own words: “We proudly support individuals and sponsor teams across all disciplines of the sport.”
Fill in what you can. Tim will come back to you about how dealer orders work and what suits the size of your business.
You get the workshop, not a call centre. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

No, dealer pricing isn't on the site. Send the enquiry or ring Tim and he will go through it with you. The retail prices your customers see are on the order page.
Send the details for that one bow and it gets made the same as any other. If you want to talk about ordering more than one at a time, ask Tim what suits.
Send the form and tell us about the club, how many shoot with you and what they shoot. It's a small workshop, so the useful answer comes from a conversation rather than a page.
Tell us what you have: the make, the model, the string and cable lengths off the old set if they're readable. Tim would rather chase the numbers down than guess at them.
The full list on the colour charts page. Screen colours are a guide; the printed chart is the reference, so it's worth having the real chart in front of a customer.
Not sure which set your bow needs, or want Tim to fit and tune it after the strings arrive? Call, email, or send the enquiry form and we'll sort it out with you.
